Memory, identity, integration to identify analysis models in media communication

THE NETWORK

Media communication, by expressing politics, values, discourses of a society through different eras,
represents an inestimable heritage for the analysis and interpretation of cultural processes. Such
discourses reflect the historical memory and the complexity of individual and collective perspectives of the
world. The analysis of cultural products is the starting point for a particular recovery and recoding of a
collective heritage that facilitates intercultural dialogue. Our project, through a transdisciplinary approach,
aims to preserve the cultural heritage and decode the discursive strategies in different historical and
geographical contexts, that contribute to the construction of the individual identity to the formation of
group’s identity.
